Hermes is offering UK-based retailers the ability to have their parcels delivered into its overseas ParcelShops for the first time.

The service will see Hermes deliver orders into its 36,000 ParcelShops across Europe, including shops in France, Spain, Germany, Portugal and Monaco.

It will also deliver to consumers’ home addresses in 20 EU countries and plans to expand the services into 35 countries, including Russia, by 2015.

Deliveries will be made using Hermes’ own fleet, which spans across Europe. It will also offer a cross-border returns service.

Hermes UK CEO Carole Woodhead said: “Many of our customers are actively pursuing a strategy of international growth and we need to be able to support them with the best possible solution in the marketplace.”
