Following the news that Julian Maturi had returned to Palletways, the business he headed when it was sold in 2004 to James Wilson and Phoenix Equity Partners, it appears the pallet network had a major re-shuffle of its executive team last year.

Susan Hundleby, who was group finance director and company secretary at the business, retired last year, although she continues to undertake some part-time consultancy work for Palletways.

Hundleby has been succeeded by Andrew Reynolds who was group finance director at Expotel, and has also worked for NFT, Sainsbury’s and Storehouse Group.

Andy Turner, head of owned operations at Palletways, left the business last autumn, although he too continues to perform a consultancy role for the network.

In his place Palletways has recruited Peter Lascelles as director of the company’s owned membership operations (including Palletways Birmingham, London and Scotland). He was a general manager at TNT.

Craig Hibbert is now group member development director, with responsibility for member recruitment and group marketing. Hibbert had been a group member development role for Europe and UK MD before that.

Palletline recently completed its new-look management team and Pallet-Track has recently appointed Gale Maltby as its finance director ho has now taken over from Rob Eaton who has retired from the role.
