Keith Basnett has joined UK parcel distributor Yodel as chief operating officer after eight years in the same role with 'digital department store' the Shop Direct Group.
Shop Direct Group owns brands including Very.co.uk, Littlewoods and Isme.
At Yodel, Basnett will oversee the 150 million parcel deliveries Yodel makes for leading UK retailers.
The parcel firm said of the appointment: “Keith brings a wealth of retail expertise to Yodel, particularly in running complex logistics operations and customer service.
"He played a key role in the integration of Littlewoods Home Shopping and Shop Direct (formerly GUS).”
Basnett joins newly recruited chief executive Neil Lloyd at Yodel.
