Plymouth-based Global Garden Products (GGP) has extended its contract with Wincanton, which will take the partnership to a decade.

Wincanton has provided warehousing and distribution for the manufacturer’s powered garden products since 2003, delivering to the main B&Q DCs, and direct to GGP retailers nationwide.

The contract is run from Wincanton’s Rothwell depot in Leeds.

Wincanton manufacturing MD Chris Kingshott said: “This latest contract extension will bring our partnership up to the 10 year mark- a tremendous milestone of which we’re very proud and, as GGP continues with its growth plans, we will be there to support them.”

GGP logistics manager Darren Cottis said: “GGP has ambitious plans for the global garden products market and Wincanton demonstrates time and time again that, with their innovative approach and can-do attitude, they are the right people to help us fulfill our potential.”
