Toy retailer The Entertainer has renewed its tracked parcel distribution contract with City Link, quadrupling the amount of parcels it handles for the company.
City Link has held the contract for eight years and will manage the retailer’s next day deliveries out of its Bicester, Oxfordshire, depot.
“We are delighted to have been appointed the sole carrier for The Entertainer, especially as our tender focused purely on the service we were already providing,” said Tim Brown, sales and marketing director at City Link.
The companies worked together last Christmas to ensure efficient delivery of larger than expected parcel volumes.
City Link operates out of a 70-strong network of depots across England and Wales handles the retailer’s next day parcel deliveries.
