Wincanton has won a contract extension with organic skincare firm Neal’s Yard, which will run until at least 2014.
The logistics firm has worked with Neal’s since 2008 when it scooped a three-year deal to handle warehousing and deliveries from its 500,000ft² shared-user DC in Greenford, West London.
Jon Hiatt, operations director at Neal’s Yard Remedies, says: “To support our growth plans we need the flexibility that Wincanton’s supply chain solutions provide, coupled with the agility to be able to deal with the many and varied day to day challenges presented by a multi-channel operation.”
Guy Elliott, Wincanton’s MD for contract logistics, adds: “These days ambitious and forward-thinking retailers like Neal’s Yard Remedies need flexibility in order to support growth, rather than assets to support their supply chain, and I’m delighted they have chosen to extend their contract with us.”
