UPS plans to open a site in Dordon, near Tamworth, after signing a 15-year lease with developer IM Properties.
The express parcel carrier plans to move into a 152,500ft² unit on the Birch Coppice Business Park, located near junction 10 of the M42.The site will include 7,500 ft² of office space and is yet to be completed.
A spokeswoman for UPS was unable to provide more details about the site, or when the company is due to move in.
The express parcel carrier also has a 312,000ft² hub in nearby Tamworth, which it is authorised to operate 200 vehicles and 150 trailers from. It recently opened a biomethane refuelling station at the hub, which will be used to fuel its 20 dual-fuel trucks.
