Wimbledon-based TRG  Logistics has appointed a new operations director to manage the firm’s branches and recruitment business.

Donna Topham will be responsible for operations in Dublin, Manchester and Birmingham, as well as TRG’s planned new offices in Wimbledon and Bradford.

She will also manage the firm’s operations located at customer sites, as well as compliance and recruitment programmes.

Chief executive Nick Gordon said: “2013 promises to be a year of significant growth for the overall TRG business and its vital we have experienced professionals in our key senior management positions.

"Donna’s proven expertise will play a pivotal role in our future plans as we look to develop a 14 strong branch network over the next two years.”

Topham joined the driver recruitment firm, which also provides contract distribution services and vehicle hire, as regional manager for the North in June of this year.

The firm holds an O-licence to run 79 vehicles and 60 trailers out of four different operating centres in Dunstable, Norwich, Felixstowe and West Thurrock.
