Stobart said it had strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of a new retail director and operations director.
The Culina Group company has taken on Craig Moore as its retail director and Lee Havard has been promoted from within to become its director of operations.
Moore’s career includes more than 14 years at Tesco where he served as senior supply chain and logistics manager. He was instrumental in establishing and optimising distribution networks in the UK and internationally.
He has also worked at DP World, leading its commercial and supply chain team.
Moore will be expected to develop Stobart’s retail and distribution strategy and be tasked with continuing to grow its well-established retail model.
Havard’s career began in 2006 as transport administrator and since then he has progressed through various roles.
Stobart said his journey demonstrated its dedication to recognising and nurturing talent from within.
As operations director he will be responsible for managing the distribution for two of Stobart’s larger customer contracts, PepsiCo Walkers and Warrens, who specialise within the baked goods sector.
