Multiple MT Award winner GeoPost UK, comprising of DPD and Interlink, continues to set the standard in the parcel industry, and beyond. Its Predict service continues to be built upon as the industry-leading technology for B2C and B2B parcel delivery, with many rivals seeking to emulate its performance.
The influence of Predict has moved out of the parcels sector too. In November Palletways introduced a new software platform for members that its described as being similar to Predict meaning that customers will be notified of delivery slots by hours, not days.
Financially GeoPost is benefitting from happier customers: combining the two businesses the turnover at GeoPost UK’s activities stood at £671.6m, compared to £470.9m in 2012. Pre-tax profit for the combined businesses stood at £90m. That is the largest profit margin in the MT Top 100.
