Refrigerated rental company Petit Forestier has spent £20m upgrading its short-term hire fleet.
The company, which received the Motor Transport Apprenticeship of the Year award last year, plans to make a similar sized fleet investment in 2016.
The new vehicles bring Petit Forestier’s short term hire fleet to 1,200, and pushes the size of its total UK and Ireland fleet to more than 5,000 vehicles, distributed across 16 depots.
Pat Skelly, MD Petit Forestier UK, said: “By understanding our customers’ requirements, we have increased our fleet in the areas where we have the most demand.
"We want to provide our customers with the highest quality vehicles and that is why nearly 80% of the whole fleet is less than three years old.
