Palletways has appointed Dave Walmsley as its member and network development director.
Walmsley, who will oversee the network’s “continuous growth” in his new role, joins Palletways from Lyreco, where he held the role of commercial director for 25 years.
He said: “Palletways has got a great reputation in the UK and across Europe and the business is doing extremely well.
“I look forward to working with the team here at Fradley and all the members across the country and I am excited to join a business with a clear vision and desire for growth.”
Palletways recently upped its capacity at its Fradley HQ by 50%, when it took on the former UK Pallets site 500m from its existing hub.
The network is set to raise its capacity by a further 40% by increasing the capacity of its regional hubs in London, Oxford and Livingston.
The member and network development director role is separate to that of group member development director, which has been held by Craig Hibbert since 2011.
