Greater Manchester will be launching a new Freight and Logistics Forum later this year to provide a collective voice for operators delivering across the region.

To shape the structure of the new forum, operators are invited to take part in a workshop later this month to help identify key issues for delivering goods in the metropolitan area.

Supported by Transport for Greater Manchester, the forum aims to promote best practice in the industry, encourage collaboration and promote safe, clean and efficient operations.

The workshop event will enable operators to voice how the forum can best represent the logistics industry, discuss the latest issues affecting deliveries and get involved in the planning stages of future plans likely to impact on freight.

It will be held at Manchester Metropolitan University on 10:00 – 14:00 Thursday 19 May. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
