Many of the UK’s major multi-modal operators will be heading to the Multimodal exhibition at the Birmingham NEC later this month.
Potter Logistics will be redesigning its stand (237) to highlight some of its major milestones as it celebrates 50 years in business.
“Meeting up with new clients and customers is never easy, Multimodal is a fantastic platform for everyone to maximise their time with multiple meetings in a day or two,” a Potter spokeswoman said.
Pentalver (pictured right) plans to demonstrate its container conversion service on its stand (610) with a container designed to look like a traditional pub. It is the operator’s fifth year at Multimodal and it plans to tell visitors about its specialist container haulage and cargo handling work.
Ian Barnes, chief commercial officer at Pentalver, said: “Having a presence at the show enables us to meet our customers and prospective customers, and ensure that Pentalver remains at the forefront of their minds.”
This year's event will also see Canute Group (stand 630) introduce its Canfund service, which allows subcontractors to draw down payment as soon as its needed. It will also launch its new branding for its five divisions, as well as a new website.
Bullet Express promises to give visitors to stand 760 a “Lewis Hamilton moment” with a Silverstone F1 test car screen. MD David McCutcheon says it is looking to engage with operators and companies requiring transport to and from Scotland, and tell visitors about is storage, pick and pack, and container unloading at its new East Kilbride facility.
Miniclipper Logistics (stand 254) will be making its return to the show after a successful first foray into the exhibition world in 2014. Since last year it has filled a 50,000ft² warehouse and is looking to attract prospective clients to help it fill its next facility.
Also returning to the exhibition is Howard Tenens (stand 440), which will be making its eighth appearance at the show. The operator says past shows have provided it with an excellent source of new business leads and it is looking forward to telling potential customers how it can help them.
Head of logistics Jamie Hartles said: “Multimodal is an excellent way for us to meet new customers, showcase Howard Tenens, and gauge current logistics industry performance and best practice through the seminar offering.”
Multimodal takes place at the NEC in Birmingham on 28-30 April.
