The launch of a plant, equipment and HGV proposition helped Nexus Rental increase net revenue by nearly a fifth last year.

The B2B vehicle and plant hire firm said investment and expansion across new territories also meant EBITDA followed a similar trend.

Gross revenue increased by 5% to £262m and it said this continued a run of more than 10 years of consecutive revenue growth.

The peak period in 2025-26 also saw a 25% year-on-year increase in the number of vehicles supplied.

Built on the Iris management platform and a UK supply partner network, Nexus said its new plant, equipment and HGV proposition directly addressed the hidden costs and complexity of multi-supply partner hire management.

It provides coverage across five categories: site and groundworks, material handling, HGV and specialist fleets, access equipment, and site setup and welfare.

Alex Cook, CFO at Nexus, said: “The performance over the last twelve months shows the importance of continued investment in our service offering, plus expansion.

“This, alongside our ongoing development of our Iris platform, helps us maintain strong relationships with our customers and supplier partners.”
