Global logistics specialist LV Shipping has expanded its North East base at Infinity Park in Hebburn, South Tyneside, to support its continued growth.
Infinity Park, within Monkton Business Park, is owned and managed by Hellens Group. LV Shipping already occupies Unit 18 and has now taken on the neighbouring Unit 19, bringing its total footprint on the business park to 25,000 sq ft.
LV Shipping operates worldwide with offices in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas. Its UK headquarters are in Middlesbrough, from where it offers freight forwarding, warehousing and logistics services.
The company said its expansion at Monkton strengthens LV Shipping’s presence in the North East and provides capacity to handle new contracts, expand storage, and increase efficiency for its customers.
Lee Woolams (pictured left), managing director of LV Shipping, said: “Once we learned about the opportunity at Monkton Business Park, we moved quickly.
“The team love their current base and the timing worked well as they continue to grow. The strong relationships between both parties have helped deliver a smooth and efficient transition.”
Gavin Cordwell-Smith (pictured right), chief executive of Hellens Group, added: “It is fantastic to see LV Shipping increase their presence at Infinity Park.
“Our development was designed to provide modern, flexible space for ambitious companies, and LV Shipping’s expansion demonstrates the strength of demand for quality industrial accommodation in this part of the North East. We are proud to support their growth.”
Located close to the A19 and Tyne Tunnel, the park provides road connectivity to Teesside, Tyneside and the wider national motorway network. It is home to a range of occupiers including Siemens, Ford Component Manufacturing and Kier.
Hellens Group said this latest deal comes amid continued demand for modern logistics and industrial space in the North East, fuelled by the region’s role as a hub for advanced manufacturing, offshore energy and international trade.
