Event logistics specialist KB Event has taken delivery of 60 new Krone Dry Liner box trailers for use across its UK and European operations.
The fleet expansion comes just three months after KB Event underwent a management buyout, led by former executive Richard Burnett, who is now CEO of the company.
Nottinghamshire-based KB Event provides logistics and transport services for the live events, exhibitions, broadcast, entertainment and touring industries.
The company now operates a fleet of 200 Krone trailers.
The new trailers come with a number of bespoke features to improve loading flexibility, cargo security and vehicle operation.
Key specifications include dual ride height, allowing the trailers to operate with different tractor unit coupling heights while maintaining a level load platform and dedicated ramp carriers designed to accommodate 3,750 mm x 1,000 mm loading ramps.
The trailers also feature Krone’s keyhole side wall loading system, providing multiple load restraint and load bar positioning options to help secure a wide variety of event equipment safely and efficiently.
An insulated roof helps protect cargo from temperature extremes, while full-length internal LED strip lighting provides enhance visibility during loading and unloading, particularly in low-light conditions. The trailers are finished in KB Event fleet livery.
The specification also includes premium floor sealing, additional LED loading lights, integrated load restraint equipment and Krone’s 10-year anti-rust-through warranty.
