Prolog Fulfilment has appointed Geoff Taylor as chief operating officer with a brief to accelerate innovation and enhance its service offering, as the company continues to grow across the UK and international markets.

Taylor brings extensive senior-level operational and commercial experience spanning the logistics and technology sectors.

He joins from AEB, a provider of software solutions supporting global trade and logistics processes across industrial, manufacturing and e-commerce industries, where he was MD for the past nine years.

Prior to this, he spent a decade at iForce Group, where he held a number of director-level positions within the e-fulfilment, carriage management and returns recovery.

In the newly created role, Taylor will be responsible for overseeing Prolog Fulfilment’s operational strategy, with a focus on scaling infrastructure, driving efficiency and embedding technology-led innovation to support clients’ evolving needs.

He will also play a key role in strengthening service delivery, assisting in the growth strategy and supporting the company’s long-term international expansion plans.

Neil Daniells, Prolog Fulfilment chief executive, said: “Geoff’s appointment reflects our ongoing investment in senior leadership as we position ourselves to meet increasing demand for agile, technology-enabled fulfilment solutions in a rapidly evolving global logistics landscape.

“As we continue to grow it is vital that we have the right people in place so we can continue to deliver strong value for our customers and Geoff will be a great asset to the team.”

Taylor added: “My time in the technology industry has been successful and fascinating, but I have missed the world of logistics and assisting customers with solutions that help them scale and thrive.

“Prolog is an exciting business as there are not many in the sector with such a breadth of services, whilst of a size where they truly look after their customers – a key motivation for me.”
