Evri Group has met its goal to deliver more than one billion parcels a year three years earlier than originally planned, following its merger with DHL eCommerce UK in October 2025 and is now aiming to become the UK’s largest parcel firm, delivering 1.4 billion parcels annually by 2030.

Reporting its annual results for the year to 28 February 2026, the group revealed parcel volumes rising 17% year on year, while revenue jumped 29% to £2.38bn. Group adjusted EBITDA increased to £402m.

During the year, Evri increased capital expenditure from £57m to £80m, investing in network infrastructure, automation and technology.

Investment included around £30m in automated sortation equipment at its Barnsley super hub, including a third tier of sortation and a small-item sorter.

The upgrades are expected to increase the site’s processing capacity to up to 1.5 million parcels a day by Christmas 2026.

The business also announced a £50m programme to expand its ParcelShop and locker network to 25,000 locations by 2030. The network currently comprises more than 11,000 locations.

Alongside its merger with DHL eCommerce UK, Evri completed the acquisition of Irish customs clearance and logistics specialist Coll-8 in May 2025.

The enlarged group now operates six brands: Evri, Evri Premium – A Network of DHL, Evri Fulfilment, Evri International, UK Mail and Coll-8.

Evri attributed continued growth in parcel volumes to increased e-commerce activity, including consumer-to-consumer sales through online marketplaces and the growth of social commerce.

The company also invested in technology during the year, including AI-powered systems to monitor delivery quality, a new courier app and improvements to its customer service platform.

At the end of the financial year, Evri employed more than 12,000 people and worked with more than 30,000 self-employed couriers and drivers across the UK.

Martijn de Lange, Evri chief executive, said: “Shopping habits have changed for good. The growth of online small businesses, social commerce and pre-loved marketplaces last year is driving parcel volumes higher, with the combined Evri Group now delivering more than one billion parcels annually.

“Following significant investment in our service, operations and people this year, including £50m to more than double our ParcelShop and locker network by 2030, we are focused on meeting customers where they are, with greater flexibility, convenience and choice.

“The formation of Evri Group, through our merger with DHL eCommerce UK and acquisition of Coll-8, means we are better placed than ever to offer greater reach and more ways for customers to send, receive and return parcels at a fair price.

“Our ambition is to become the UK’s largest parcel company by 2030, delivering 1.4 billion parcels a year. We will achieve that by continuing to invest in our network, technology and people, while maintaining the quality of service our customers expect.”
