Brit European has extended its contract with Prometeon Tyre Group with a 12-month rolling pay-as-you-go deal covering the logistics provider’s 162-strong fleet.

It includes supplying Brit European’s heavy haulage vehicles with the latest Serie 02 tyre products as well.

The company said this was a high mileage fleet that travelled over a million kilometres a year transporting an average of 120 JCB machines a day.

Andy Evans, optimisation manager at Brit European, said Prometeon had become a “trusted part” of its team:

“Their exemplary tyre management skills, outstanding customer support, and comprehensive dealer network have helped to secure our continued growth,” he said.

“Alongside that, the premium Pirelli branded truck tyres - which are engineered, produced and sold by Prometeon - have been proven over the years to suit our unique fleet’s needs.

“A tyre failure is virtually unheard of.”
