UPS has appointed Nando Cesarone (pictured) as president of its Europe region.
Canadian Cesarone has been with UPS for 25 years, where he has held roles including the vice president of operations for UPS Canada and country manager for Austria, Hungary and Switzerland. He also worked as president of UPS Asia Pacific.
In his new role, Cesarone will be responsible for UPS operations in 56 countries and territories, and 45,000 jobs.
He replaces Cindy Miller, who is now president of UPS global freight forwarding. Ross McCullough will replace Cesarone as president of UPS Asia Pacific.
Jim Barber, president, UPS International, said: “Nando and Ross have honed their leadership skills with a broad range of assignments around the world. Like many of our executives, both of them started their careers as a package loader and driver, respectively, exemplifying our focus on leadership development and succession planning.”
