Cullimore Group MD Moreton Cullimore has followed in his father’s footsteps after being appointed the new chair of the RHA.
Cullimore becomes the association’s youngest ever chairperson and he will work with vice-chairperson Tim Slater, along with the RHA’s management team, to help move the industry along the road to recovery.
Cullimore’s father Roger sat on the RHA’s board of directors for many years and Moreton filled the former MD’s shoes when he retired and became chairman of the Gloucestershire-based group.

He thanked his predecessor at the RHA, Ashly McCulla, for his work, advice and support and said: “Cullimore’s have been in haulage for over 90 years and we have been members of the RHA since it was established over 75 years ago.
“My grandfather, father and myself have always believed that the support provided by such a strong organisation is invaluable.
“2020 raised so many challenges and the RHA has supported its members and the industry as a whole throughout both the pandemic and the end of the Brexit transition period.”
