Fleet tech specialist Lightfoot has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of David Savage as its chief revenue officer.

In the newly created role, Lightfoot said Savage brings 20 years of leadership experience driving commercial growth across the mobility, automotive and technology sectors.

His most recent position was as Vice President at telematics business Geotab.

Savage has also worked at mobility provider FREENOW, where he drove double-digit growth and expanded operations significantly.

Lightfoot added that his appointment came as it was gearing up for multi-market expansion.

Savage said: “I am delighted to be joining Lightfoot at such a pivotal time – our plans for growth across the continent are ambitious and, with our proven technology and demonstrable results, I know we can make significant progress on reducing risk on the roads and supporting decarbonisation efforts for European fleets.

“Our plans extend even further afield too, and I am looking forward to leading the global expansion, reinforcing the key safety, emission reduction and cost saving features that have made Lightfoot such a unique and highly successful company in the UK.”

His appointment follows a series of managerial changes at Lightfoot announced earlier this year, which saw Paul Hollick moving up to the role of CEO and Rupert Lyon-Taylor named chief customer officer.
