JCB electric Teletruck

JCB has launched an electric version of its ubiquitous Teletruk telescopic lift truck.

The 30-19E is powered by 80V lead acid batteries that work indoors and outside in temperatures down to -20degC and give eight hours operation on a single charge.

The battery can be recharged in eight hours or swapped out for another pack in two minutes for double shift operations.

The 30-19E can lift a 1,600kg pallet up to 3m away from the telehandler, enabling long wheelbase vans to be loaded through the back doors.

It can lift 1,900kg up to 2m so a truck can be loaded from just one side.

The cab height is 2.2m and it can climb gradients of 21%.
