Knights of Old has acquired 10 new Scanias at short notice for a contract renewal – and had them decked out in a new livery.
Paul Abbott, group director, said the R450 tractor units were needed to facilitate the unnamed contract and so the company relied on ‘stock’ vehicles already in the country in factory white.
“We decided at that point to look at options for wrapping and agreed this was an attractive option and something slightly different and fresh for this batch of vehicles which would predominantly be assigned to a particular contract, with some based at a new operation centre at Rugby,” Abbott said.
The trucks were puchased through TruckEast.
