A new haulage insurance aiming to empower firms to manage risk before problems arise and help them strengthen resilience has launched in partnership with solicitors Backhouse Jones.

Managing agent rrelentless, global insurer Zurich and the transport law firm have combined to offer the package, which they said would help businesses reduce risk, improve compliance and access specialist advice.

rrelentless said its proposition built on an established approach of enabling businesses to manage risk, rather than responding after a claim has occurred.

By combining specialist insurance, legal expertise and risk management support, the model is designed to help operators minimise disruption when issues arise.

Gary Gallen, relentless CEO, said: “This launch is founded on a clear opportunity to bring greater innovation to the haulage insurance market.

“Transport operators face increasingly complex risks, creating demand for solutions that extend beyond insurance alone.

“By combining Zurich’s 5-star-rated capacity with rrelentless’ specialist underwriting skills and leading sector specialists in Backhouse Jones, we have created a proposition that aligns insurance, legal expertise and risk management around a common goal: helping haulage operators manage risk more effectively and build greater resilience.”
