Geodis Calberson has opened three new regional UK DCs as part of its five-year expansion plan.
In addition to its 11 sites operating across the country, it has recently opened DCs at West Thurrock in East London, Wythenshawe in Manchester and Hedge End in Southampton.
Geodis Calberson said the new warehouses would help it get closer to its customers at a local level.
“We are delighted to be opening our new sites to bring an even better service to our customers in London, Manchester and on the South Coast,” said network development director Heather Newton.
“We are investing to ensure both service levels to our clients and our own positive growth can continue through these difficult economic times.”
Geodis have over 3 million m² of warehousing across the UK and a distribution network that covers 120 countries across Europe and the rest of the world.
