Is there no stopping the monolith that is Norbert Dentressangle?
It doesn’t appear so, after the logistics giant posted first quarter revenues of €1.07bn (circa £890m) this week - up a hefty 13.6% on Q1 2013.
With turnover at the transport division up 5.5% on Q1 2013 to €527m and logistics up a whopping 19.8% at €522m, the French group looks set to exceed its 2013 full year turnover of just over €4bn without trouble, if it can carry this momentum forward.
Hardly surprising, perhaps, that the company declared itself “confident regarding its prospects for 2014”.
Confident? Most vehicle operators we know would be delirious with joy if they managed a turnover of €1bn over a full year, never mind the first quarter...
