EP Training has acquired Cranleigh-based Group One LGV Training.
Group One will keep its name and continue to offer professional training in categories such as C, C1, C1E, C+E as well as ADR and Driver CPC training, and will operate under the EP Training banner.
EP Training MD Sean Pargeter said Group One’s owner was approaching retirement and he saw an opportunity to boost its presence in the region.
“I thought, rather than our competitors have it we’ll do it ourselves,” he said.
“Group One covers Surrey and West Sussex, which perfectly complements and expands our coverage. We are not trying to take over the world, just trying to expand in our area.”
