The model training programme used by RtL includes other elements beneficial to a new driver, such as an introduction to logistics, employability skills, health and safety and personal finance. Further coaching and mentoring is available for more vulnerable learners.

Road to Logistics was launched in 2016 as a result of a close collaboration between Microlise and the RHA.
