Culina Logistics has finalised the transfer of a juice distribution contract for MMUK (the UK subsidiary of Spanish food supplier AMC Group) after it won a contract previously held by rival NFT Distribution.

Mark Graham, juice logistics and operations manager at MMUK, said that the company needed a logistics supplier it could “rely on completely” as it looked to expand in the UK.

“We are working with the most demanding retailer networks, clients who insist on total commitment to their systems. In our phase one trial Culina have proved that they can fully deliver on their promises,” said Graham.

Culina chief executive Thomas Van Mourik thanked NFT for a “totally seamless” initial 2,000 pallet uplift of AMC products: “There was absolutely no impact on deliveries into the major retailers being served. We are now channelling considerable on-going focus on meeting AMC KPI’s exactly.”

The temperature-controlled specialist now handles some 140 different products for MMUK.
