Culina has bought 20 new Daf XFs from dealer Daf Greenhous.
The food and drinks logistics provider said it chose the tractive-units because they were the best match for its company's priorities of ensuring drivers can work in comfortable conditions, while minimising the business's environmental impact.
The company also recently bought 14 Daf CF and LF rigids in varying weights.
Mark Matkin, group fleet manager for Culina, said: “We have invested heavily in environmentally efficient trucks and the means to monitor how our vehicles are driven. Our Daf trucks are great examples.
“We can track their use comprehensively; including driver behaviour, CO2 emissions, route planning and fuel usage. Working with Greenhous DAF we monitor our fleet use and feedback our findings to enable them to evaluate the value of technological advances.”
