Waste removal firm the Cleansing Service Group (CSG) has taken delivery of five new Scania ADR-approved tankers as part of a multimillion pound fleet improvement plan.
The 32-tonners, fitted with sleeper cabs and Whale tankers, are custom built for CSG’s liquid waste removal and transportation services.
They will work removing “oily waste” from petrol forecourts and water-based waste from industrial sites.
The company has spent £2m on new vehicles this year, with three 26-tonne Scania vacuum tankers, five 18-tonne Daf vacuum tankers for sewage clearances and a 14-tonne Daf vacuum tanker also set to join the fleet.
CSG said it plans to spend £10m on vehicles over the next seven years as part of its ongoing fleet replacement programme.
