Cardiff Container Link, a domestic and container haulier, has gone into administration.

Based in Roath Docks in Cardiff, the company provided container haulage to shipping lines and agents, as well as inland storage and handling and a courier service.

It ran a fleet of 13 Daf HGVs, plus vans and moved up to 400 containers every week to all of the major ports in the UK.

Administrators from RSM Restructuring were appointed to the business on 1 May.

In March 2019 Cardiff Container Link struck a deal with Asset Alliance Group where it would be supplied with five new Daf XF 530 tractors on a two-year, full maintenance contract hire basis.

The administrator was unable to respond as we went to press.
