The British Vehicle Renting and Leasing Association (BVRLA) is urging businesses to to “look for the logo” when renting or leasing a commercial vehicle.

Gerry Keaney, BVRLA chief executive, said: “We need to create a stronger awareness of the BVRLA and the benefits of booking with one of our members.”

As part of its new marketing push, the organisation has produced marketing material for its members, which explains to customers the benefits of choosing a BVRLA member.

BVRLA has also increased the presence and scope of the consumer section of its website, offering a local rental operator search facility, as well as advice and tips on making rental work for them.

"By redesigning our website and producing this leaflet, we are giving our members even more reason to display their BVRLA logo with pride."
