Work on a 327,000 sq ft logistics development north of Manchester will commence shortly after developer Arrow Capital Partners appointed a contractor.

Arrow Park Bolton is made up of a 107,500sq ft logistics unit and a 220,250sq ft warehouse and they will be ready for occupiers to move into in the first half of 2026.

The units will include sustainable features, including photovoltaic panels on the roof and electric vehicle charging points.

They will also feature a power capacity of 4.5 MVA, 15 metre eves, 82 HGV trailer spaces, 32 dock levellers and five-level access doors.

Located adjacent to junction 6 of the M61, the development has direct access to Manchester International Airport and the Port of Liverpool, as well as links to the M60, M6 and M62.

Arrow has appointed VolkerFitzpatrick to start the building work.

The units will target a BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ certification and an EPC ‘A’ rating.

Lawrence Harkness, head of development at Arrow Capital Partners, said: “After securing planning at the start of the year, we immediately commenced demolition and enabling works with Forshaw Demolition, which have progressed exceptionally well.

“We’re now excited to move forward with VolkerFitzpatrick, an experienced logistics contractor whom we have worked with on previous developments, to bring the build phase to life.”
