The two-day summit, a joint imitative between Motor Transport, TfL, DHL and Route Monkey, and it will take place on 25 and 26 November at Twickenham Stadium.

It will bring together key stakeholders interested in seeing out-of-hours deliveries become a normal part of the supply chain.

The summit includes a full conference programme, a networking dinner, exhibition, and live demonstration of the latest quiet logistics equipment.

Transport for London will share London’s best practice on retiming deliveries and showcase its work on facilitating out-of-hours deliveries, while other cities from Europe and the US will discuss the work they have implemented to conquer the freight challenge and allow off-peak deliveries.

Enabling the logistics sector to schedule flexibly acceptable delivery times within urban areas is also key to successful out of hours deliveries, and Route Monkey is well-placed to help.

At Quiet Cities, Route Monkey will demonstrate how technology can work well to achieve quieter deliveries. It will showcase a web-based scheduling platform which is UK government-backed and can be accessed by fleets across both public and private sectors. This platform solves a real problem as it is a pay-as-you-go model that instantly delivers a return on investment. It’s accessible and easy to use and will host all the fleet’s data in one place, saving on administration and time.

They are just one of a range of manufacturers, including Brigade, Paneltex, Cargotech, Carrier Transicold and Michelin, that will be demonstrating the latest in low noise technology
