Carmel Mulvey

Logistics UK has appointed Carmel Mulvey (pictured) as its new finance director.

The business group said Mulvey has more than 25 years’ experience of senior finance across a range of sectors: “Having most recently worked as the finance director at a privately owned global manufacturing business in Kent, we are confident that Ms Mulvey’s experience not only as a financial director, but also gained from her work in industry, will continue to strengthen our existing, knowledgeable finance team,” added David Wells, Logistics UK chief executive.

Mulvey said: “I am excited to be joining Logistics UK. As a well-respected business organisation with over 20,000 members, I look forward to leading the finance teams as we continue to achieve greater efficiencies to accomplish even more for our members.”
