Parcel, haulage and freight firm Caribou is continuing its acquisition drive with the purchase of Swindon-based Six Ten Logistics.

This latest acquisition closely follows the company’s purchase of Prestwich haulier C&D Transport Solutions in January this year and Lincolnshire County Couriers in Grantham at the end of last year. The firm also has plans to open a new depot in Colchester, creating an additional 20 jobs.

The company said the white glove delivery and distribution company, which is a member of Pall-Ex, will bring its experience in the UK and pan-European pallet distribution trade and retail sector as well as its track record in dealing with the rapid changes in retail demand, needs and preferences – especially during the pandemic - enabling Caribou to “craft strategies that will personalise and streamline logistics experiences for retail businesses”.

Caribou MD Daryl Dylan added: “‘We are absolutely delighted to welcome the Six Ten Logistics team into the rapidly growing Caribou family.
