Panther Logistics has entered into an agreement with baby brand My 1st Years to deliver its heavy outdoor items range.
The two-man logistics firm was chosen after it offered to deliver the Discovery Create & Paint Easel and the Discovery Mud Pie Kitchen direct to where the customer required it.
My 1st Years said it was entering into a new phase and until now had specialised in personalised clothes and smaller toys for babies and toddlers.
Amy Weaver, head of buying at the company, said: “The items are extremely heavy and most people would be incapable of moving them safely - not to mention they are being received by busy parents trying to take care of young children when the delivery arrives.

“So when we met with Panther which offered to deliver the items straight to the garden or room of choice we looked no further.
“It was just what we were looking for.”
Panther Logistics is currently celebrating 10 years of its dedicated, next-day two-person delivery model.
It claims to be the first to identify a gap in the marketplace for the service.
