Wincanton has appointed a new chief executive after the decision by its current CEO Adrian Colman to retire. Colman will be replaced by James Wroath, currently chief operating officer, North America, for Lufthansa subsidiary LSG Sky Chefs. Wincanton has won a £60m, three-year milk distribution renewal with Dairy Crest, which will extend the firms’ partnership to 21 years of working together. The deal will see the logistics giant collecting milk from more than 600 farms across southern England and Wales and transporting it, via a 100-strong fleet, to four Dairy Crest dairies.
