Car transporter Beamish Transport has ceased trading due to the downturn in the car industry and uncertainty surrounding Brexit. The county Durham firm appointed administrators from KSA Group today (8 March) to achieve “an orderly closure”. Yusen Logistics has begun trading out of its specialist automotive centre in Tamworth, building on volumes out of its operation at Burnaston, near Derby. The 81,000ft² site, adjacent to the M42, offers decanting, crossdocking, stockholding and sequencing operations from first and second tier automotive parts manufacturers serving Yusen’s major car manufacturing clients.
