The Halcyon Tankers division of Hargreaves Logistics has been sold for an undisclosed sum to a team of former Hargreaves directors. The team includes Andrew Spence-Wolrich, former Hargreaves Logistics MD. Turnover at the transport division of Hargreaves Services have risen in the past 12 months, however its profit fell marginally as its tanker division struggled.
Hargreaves Services’ transport division, Hargreaves Logistics, saw both turnover and operating profit increase in the first six months of the current financial year.
Hargreaves Logistics had a “solid” year in 2012-13, performing in line with expectations, parent company Hargreaves Services said today.
