Gefco UK has extended its relationship with Jaguar Land Rover with a delivery service.

The operator has taken on new work with the manufacturer, moving finished vehicles from its Halewood production site to dealerships across central UK and the South East.

It previously worked with Jaguar Land Rover in the area, transporting machinery between sites. The deal has been integrated into Gefco’s existing contract with Jaguar, which ends in March 2017.

Gefco said the operation will boost the synergy between the companies’ operations; they have been working together since 2012.

John Stocker, finished vehicles logistics director at Gefco UK, said: “We are delighted to work with Jaguar Land Rover.

"This is in recognition of the high levels of customer service we provide. We look forward to strengthening our relationship and ensuring we continue to provide the highest level of support.”
