Two-man delivery business Arrow XL has launched a next-day delivery service.

It will allow Arrow XL's retail clients to offer their customers next-day delivery of large goods to 98% of addresses nationwide, Monday to Saturday.

Shop Direct, which owns brands such as Very.co.uk and Littlewoods.com, is the first retailer to sign up to the new service, which it said would provide its customers with quicker delivery of larger items.

Receipt, inspection, picking, dispatch and returns management of products for Shop Direct is currently managed by Norbert Dentressangle, while another carrier delivers smaller parcels.

Recently appointed Arrow XL CEO Ian Howell said: “As a business committed to providing innovative solutions for retailers and their customers, we’re delighted to launch a next day delivery service.”
