APC Overnight has appointed Mike Allison as head of transport.
Allison has held various roles in the transport industry over the last 15 years and has also specialised in the movement of hazardous goods with the police. He has joined the company to improve efficiency, as well as setting and maintaining the parcel delivery network’s transport strategy.
In his new position, Allison will also oversee the introduction of 45 additional Cartwright trailers to the fleet, which are due to enter the fleet shortly.
He said: “APC Overnight is a fast growing organisation that is investing heavily in staff and equipment. With the company’s continued expansion and addition of new trailers it’s a really exciting time to be joining the team.”
APC Overnight recently launched a recruitment drive for 140 staff at its Cannock, Staffordshire, hub.
