Global logistics provider DSV Road is looking to better service clients in Yorkshire with the opening of a new office in Bradford offering daily groupage services across Europe.
The new team is being headed up by Richard Wheatcroft, who joined DSV Road in October last year to take on the day-to-day responsibilities of the firm’s Yorkshire client portfolio.
Wheatcroft’s team began to look after all DSV’s Yorkshire-based customers at the beginning of February.
Rebekah Kemp, DSV Road strategic sales director, said the new facility will link DSV Road “into our comprehensive wider domestic and international networks, and within easy reach of our Immingham Distribution Centre, which itself has recently been linked in to our UK domestic network".
DSV will share the new office with Expect Distribution, one of its regional partners.
Kemp said the partnership will “extensively support the growth and development of both companies."
DSV Road operates 348 trucks and 321 trailers from a number of depots across the UK.
