Kent operator Castledene Transport has left Pallet-Track after nine years to join rival network Palletline.
Castledene, which runs 40 vehicles and has sites in Aylesford, Maidstone and Sheerness, will cover the ME postcode for Palletline, an area it formerly covered for Pallet-Track.
Castledene Transport’s owner and MD, John Amey, said it chose Palletline as it believes it will open up further opportunities for collaboration with other operators.
“Palletline is a clear leader in the industry, with competitive KPIs and excellent customer service,” Amey said.
Kevin Buchanan, MD at Palletline, said: “Castledene are a fantastic addition to the network, with an excellent reputation and commitment to quality. We look forward to supporting our new member’s business development and continued success.”
Pallet-Track MD Nigel Parkes said: “We have worked with Castledene for over nine years and always found them to be extremely professional and service driven. We wish them well for the future."
