Bowker Transport has put two specially liveried Volvo FH trucks on the road to mark its centennial year.
The new livery replicates the vintage blue, red and gold colour scheme used historically by the company.
The launch heralds a year of activities for the Preston-based haulage firm involving staff, customers and suppliers.
Bill Bowker, director, said: “We are extremely proud of our history. We are pleased to introduce our new livery to celebrate the centenary which is a significant milestone within our company’s history.

"Undoubtedly, this is a momentous achievement making Bowker one of the oldest road transport companies still operating in the UK today and the new livery is a fitting tribute to our past and the future which marks the launch of the celebrations."
Bowker Transport - registered at Companies House as WH Bowker - was established in 1919 when William Bowker used his £75 war gratuity to buy the first vehicle.
Today it operates in excess of 160 vehicles and 300 trailers, and has more than 1m sq ft of warehousing at seven UK sites.
