Invergold Associates is holding two one-day conferences to bring operators up to date with the latest developments that affect the road transport industry, with a strong focus on compliance.
The North West Transport Conference will be held at the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce on 17 September.
Chaired by Motor Transport editor Steve Hobson, keynote speakers will include North Western traffic commissioner Simon Evans, DVSA's head of Earned Recognition Philip Breen and the DVSA's head of roadside enforcement Simon McCalla.
The event will also cover Manchester's proposed clean air zone, the pitfalls of vehicle overloading and the impact of HS2 on the road network.
This will be followed by the West Midlands Transport Conference to be held at the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce on 22 October.
This will be be chaired by David Batty, chairman of BTAC and the former engineering director of Somerfield.
Keynote speakers will include West Midlands TC Nick Denton, the DVSA's Philip Breen and transport solicitor Carolyn Evans. This event will also cover local clean zones, HS2 and vehicle overloading.
Both events start at 8am and tickets include a buffet lunch and refreshments.
